It feels nothing less than amazing to be a part of a campaign initiated by one of the world’s top shoe brands. I recently collaborated with Nine West to feature their spring summer collection 2015 as part of their new drive for bloggers. Now, I’ve always been a fan of Nine West heels. And if you’re like me, chances are you’re already wondering what’s new? Well, I’ve decided to let the pictures do the talking first …
Dress – Bebe
Heels – Nine West
Earrings & Bag – Nine West
If you know me well enough, you would know my age old affair with high heels and imagine my excitement when I had a plethora of gorgeous Nine West sexy heels to select from… I particularly loved the beautiful pair of light gold heels which I am wearing above. But it definitely becomes a little tricky when we talk about teaming a pair of gold shoes with something because gold is one colour which can go drastically wrong or significantly apt!
As part of the nine west look book, I had to style and select a dress for myself for the photoshoot. We’ve all heard of the LBD but what’s taking wing this season is also the LND.. or the long nude dress. So, I thought my gold heels would go really well with the above blush nude gown from Bebe. I immediately picked that and I thought it spelt absolute elegance when I teamed it up with my Nine West heels.
I went onto complete my look with accessories from Nine West – gold & black hoop earrings, gold bracelet, a belt and a cream coloured envelope bag. And my favourite peacock ring for that little desi touch!
Needless to say, the heels were stylish and super comfortable – I was at the shoot for over two hours and I never for once felt like removing the stunning footwear! They are very classy and appropriate even for office wear or a party. In fact, do take a look at some other shoes & bags from the Nine West spring & summer collection 2015. The colors are a mixture of bright primary shades and in stark comparison, you have subdued colours like grey, cream and nude as well –
As for me, I wanted to keep the whole look simple and elegant. So, I kept the makeup minimal with just a pop of pink on my lips, nails & green polish for the toes! And unexpectedly, the green went pretty well with the ring on my finger. I kept my natural waves on the hair but if given a second chance, I would have done up a messy, dressy bun of some sorts… Here are some snippets from the video campaign –

The dress, to be honest, isn’t my favoured silhouette but my motive was to present a feminine & demure look and the heels added the streak of sexiness. I also particularly love the slit on the dress! Hiding a little bit, showing a little bit – whatever it takes to keep the world staring.. and guessing.. right?
Till my next post!
