What Caught My Eye At The #IIJW 2015

It was all glitz and glamor on the ramps but these are the collections that stood out for me at the India International Jewellery Week 2015, held in Mumbai ..

Ethnica -Fusion of Jaipur Jadau and Polki

The collection boasts traditional styles and bold craftsmanship. This work is a heritage old art using enamel & polki’s & belongs to Jaipur since centuries. Polki referred here is a natural uncut flat Diamond which gives a unique look & feel. The ensembles for the show were designed by Mumbai designer OHM by Neena & Astha.

Zohraskshi

Moni Agarwal’s royal collection Zohrakshi is said to be inspired by stunning flowers of the world, drawing from age-old traditions of floral-jewelry, yet marrying that ethos with edgy contemporary designs. Moni’s line is all about today’s woman, elegant yet restrained; classic yet forward; empowered yet subtle.
