Guess who I went shopping with last Friday?

But just in case you are not following me already – Last Friday, I happened to attend the launch of the newly revamped Reliance Trends store at Infinity mall, Malad. And what an event it was! Apart from the usual fashion fiesta, there was music, celebrities – I must say, a kick ass start to the weekend for sure!
The newly launched Reliance Trends store showcased their amazing summer spring collection 2016 – This included a total of 18 brands across men’s, women’s and children’s categories. I was pretty impressed by the in-house brands which have almost something for everyone across all age groups– Rio, a vibrant, trendy line for young women, Fig a go-to option for the working women and Avaasa which offers comfortable Indian wear with a western touch.
The Reliance Trends store is a spacious and neatly designed property, carefully segregating yet emphasizing on each category. To be honest, the uniqueness of the brand is the core, which delivers fashion at great value & definitely the products are affordable and totally summer ready! In fact, I’d highly recommend you pay a visit to the store this weekend! These are a few of my favourite pieces –
The inauguration was done by the pretty Ileana D’Cruz (psst. and of course, THIS was where I met her!)
Ileana’s personal style is all about comfort, in fact she was wearing a pretty black & white stripped dress from the Reliance Trends store with a beautiful chunky neck piece. She told me that her perfect brunch outfit would be a dress/maxi and something that would not make the tummy show after hearty meal, loved the fact she was so down to earth! And definitely comfort is something which was totally in line with what the collection at the reliance trends store was all about.
And this was followed by a musical concert by Benny Dayal – Boy, he was sooo good – hear him out below!

And the spectacular night ended with a colourful fashion show by Reliance Trends. Clearly, it wasn’t your usual ramp walk – models were dancing, having fun on stage – truly reflecting the brand’s liveliness & vibrancy!

So all you people out there wanting to do some affordable yet trendy shopping before the summer sets in, go to the new Reliance Trends store at infinity malad right away!
