The Next Chapter: May 2019 Look Book

The month of May was filled with all forms of excitement, heat and new endings. Okay – one at a time. Excitement – because I was shooting almost every day of the week. Heat – because oh well, it’s the hottest month of the year, totally humid, no sign of rain. New endings – because Avengers came to an end and so did Game of Thrones. I know 90% of the people were unhappy with the ending of GOT. They were uncomfortable with character arcs of Dany, Jon and many others. I was however, expecting Dany to do what she did. This is her, it’s always been her. She was never tamed. She was never taught how to be ethical, rightful or a morally right ruler. They took her children, her friend, she lost her army, her adviser, her best friend – sanity would have been very odd for her character, at this point. So, I don’t know why people are saying she lost her character development. THIS IS her character development. Besides, the entire King’s Landing was sitting out the fight with the dead. The MOST important fight for survival of humanity. Noone showed up. So maybe in that moment – she thought they don’t deserve to live while her people died in thousands defending them. The thing about GOT is that it doesn’t do any fan service. It happens a lot with Disney films where they show what people want. With GOT, HBO shows what writers want. The show was the way they wanted it without getting worried about what people would think. For me, it was a nice send-off. It felt like they built a new world, a better world than they found it in the first place. It was the first step for them to kind of move away from the idea of lineage or born to be or destiny. My favourite scene was Drogo carrying away Dany. Heart-breaking but beautiful. I am sad it’s over. End of an era. With Avengers too – was never a hardcore fan but grew to like it by the last edition, infinity wars. Loved it 3000!! So, cheers to these beautiful endings!!

The month of May was also a lot of about closures, Karma and moving on. I learnt this month that someone up there is watching all our actions. Karma isn’t quick like pizza but it does get served and delivered hot. So to all those, who are wondering if people pay for their wrongdoings, they do! They really do! We ALL do. Karma exists and I am glad that I got to see it for myself this month. This truly made me move on to the next chapter of my life.

All Wardrobe: Vero Moda

Sooo.. that somewhat summed up my May month for me. As far as shoots went, I had so much fun wearing these outfits below from Vero Moda – a good combination of formal and casual outfits. My favourite one has to be the green blazer look – it’s beautiful! Don’t you think? I love the mint colour. It makes feel cool in this hot weather! Haha 😛 Tell me which look of mine do you like the most?
