I wore something drastically different for Durga Puja and Diwali this year. Obviously between the two, Durga Puja holds a more special place in my heart like it does for so many other Bengalis around the world but this year, Diwali was also special – it was quiet and personal. For Durga Puja, I decided to wear a orange saree. Well, it’s actually my mum’s saree! And I completed the look with a simple red bindi and an interesting pair of earrings. For my Diwali look, I went with a white anarkali and silver jewellery. I love both the looks… can’t decide if I have a favourite this month! Here’s wishing all of you a belated Diwali and Dussherra!
