Here are some juicy style trends that caught our eyes this week!
1. Rainbow Prints & Romantic Ruffles
Clash rainbow brights to stand out, bringing classic suiting and romantic ruffles into 2021 by mixing punch-packing pop colours with graphic greens. High impact and optimistic.
2. Mirror-plated Bracelets
We spotted this fabulous bracelet set with baguette hand-polki mirrors in gold plating by Isharya from their “Mirrors on the move collection”. Stunning right ?
3. Frills & Flares
American-Nepalese designer Prabal Gurung recently unveiled his pre-fall/fall 2021 virtually at the New York Fashion Week. Titled ‘In the Mood For Love’, the collection captures the touches of ’80’s glamour, retro polka dots, frills and flares, oversized bows and exaggerated sleeves amongst many other elements. The collection is high-on-style while being both edgy and feminine.
4. The Classic Red Benarasi Saree
The red Benarasi saree is truly the favourite bridal trousseau this season. With intricate details emblazoned all over it, Dia Mirza’s bridal saree was picked from homegrown label Raw Mango. Keeping it classic, Dia Mirza styled her saree with a matching blouse comprising half sleeves and visible motif detailing. The actress complimented her outfit with an ornate necklace, earrings, maangtikka and bangles. With her hair held up in a neat updo, a dewy makeup detail rounded up her bridal look. She looked ethereal! We think traditional sarees will create a huge impact in the mainstream circuit this year. The intricate designs on pallus, generous handworks, and impressive motifs are sure to charm women out there.
5. Pullover
It’s winter in parts of India (parts of the world too) and we spotted Parineeta Chopra looking super chic in this comfortable pullover from H&M paired with a glossy skirt by Massimo Dutti. Quite a combination, we think!
6. Ankle Boots
We are completely crushing over these H&M ankle boots. Made with imitation leather with lacing at the front, a loop at the back and fluted details around the soles. Stylish and fun!
