She rose to prominence playing the role of “Latika” in the 2008 British Indian drama film Slumdog Millionaire and has appeared in a number of British Indian and Indian American productions since then. What got her also noticed was her impeccable sense of style. Freida Pinto emerged as a style icon, and has been noted as one of the best dressed actors internationally. In 2009 Pinto was featured in People magazine’s “Most Beautiful People List” and “List of World’s Best Dressed Women”. She was also included in Vogue’s 2009 list of the “top ten most stylish women” and also became a new spokesmodel for L’Oréal. People Magazine named her one of 2012 Most Beautiful at Every Age. She is one actress who has held her own even in the company of formidable co-stars.
Check out the fashionista at her best !
Freida Pinto attended the IFFLA 2013 Opening Night Gala in a Rachel Roy dress. Teamed with a metallic cuff, Freida looked hot in the dress and we personally love the gold tones against the red of the dress. The gold shoes stand out. Sophisticated !
Freida attended designer Naeem Khan debut show at Lakme Fashion Week, wearing a one-shouldered black dress from the Fall
2013 collection. Sweet!
Freida Pinto attended the Burberry Fall 2013 Presentation wearing a dark sapphire corset and emerald green trouser from Burberry Prorsum’s colour-saturated Spring 2013 collection. She kept the black sash detail to the peplum waist of the top and opted for a no-accessories look. She looked stunning with the addition of a zest of red lips and yellow purse. She played off the black with her peep-toe wedge. All in all – Love the colours playing off each other. Awesome!
Freida looked ravishing in the above one-shoulder floor-sweeping emerald evening gown by James Ferreira. She attended the 44th NAACP Image Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on February 1 where boyfriend, Dev Patel, was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. The one-shoulder number featured a cinched in waist, spattered sequin detailing on the bust and a subtly draped skirt. She accessorized the outfit with a scarlet sequinned clutch by Judith Leiber, strappy gold heels and delicate jewellery by Jacob and Co. Freida kept her makeup to a minimum, opting for only black liner to define her peepers. Her wavy brown hair was swept smoothly over one shoulder to complete her look.
In the above picture, Freida Pinto is seen wearing a black and white dress by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna on the left. On the right, she is spotted wearing a Missoni blue dress. Both the dresses were cute, with similar silhouettes. Preferred her hair on the left though !
This is my personal favourite look of Freida! Her hair updo looks the best in this one. Freida Pinto attended the opening ceremony of the Dubai International Film Festival, sizzling in the above golden Ralph Lauren gown featuring a serpentine neck. She looks glamorous, doesn’t she ?
While attending a movie screening in California, Freida kept it casual in a red Raol dress and white Roger Vivier pumps. Simply love the Vivier pumps and Frieda looked cute !
Sharp, suave and beautiful. It was good to see Freida taking a break from gowns & dresses and opting for something a little more edgy. Freida donned a Gucci suit at the Trishna premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. The red blazers and trousers with the butterfly brooch made for a welcome change. She is also carrying Fendi baguette.
Why this picture? No, it’s not the dress nor the shoes. It’s her jacket which caught my eye! Whether in formals on a way to an interview or in plain ole denims, a nice black jacket makes a big difference to any look. Also, loving the hint of purplish-pink on the lips.
Though I am personally not a fan of contemporary midriff-exposing dresses, Freida rocked this morning day-time look in this beautiful Ferragamo dress at a photocall during Cannes Film Festival. Loved the unkempt hair and the minimal make -up. Absolutely flawless !
