Deyga Organics | Hair | Review

Hey guys! So recently, Deyga Organics sent me a few products which I absolutely loved. For the uninitiated, Deyga is a homegrown skin and hair care based in Tamil Nadu, India. And first of all, a big thumbs up to homegrown, made-in-India brands! It’s been a while I have been on the look out for some local organic beauty brands and I am actually happy that I came across Deyga Organics.

So, the brand sent me a coconut milk shampoo bar, a hair growth oil, hair butter and hair serum. Just the bunch of hair products I need for healthy, silky and strong hair.

So, first let me start off with the beautifully handcrafted – Coconut Milk Shampoo Bar. Confession time – I have never used a shampoo bar ever in my life. So to be honest, this was a first time experience for me but totally worth it. The coconut milk shampoo bar is made out of natural ingredients, free of paraben and SLS. As we know, coconut milk is known to cure hair dryness and damage. It not only promotes hair growth but also boosts healthy hair follicles which strengthen and nourish the roots. I think this will be suitable for anyone with dry scalps.

Moving on – I also got a chance to try the Deyga Hair Growth Oil which has a slightly reddish tint to it due to the presence of hibiscus in it. The oil has a very mild natural earthy smell, it is lightweight and does not feel too greasy at all. I massaged the oil into my scalp for 5-10 minutes and left it for about an hour before washing it off. My hair felt really soft and silky post the hair-wash. Deyga Hair Growth Oil deeply conditions the hair and upon regular use, it also promotes hair growth.

I also tried Deyga’s Hair butter which contains specially formulated ingredients and strengthens hair with natural proteins like raw mango butter, shea butter, virgin coconut oil and more. It is really good for dry hair or if you are facing hair loss. To me, using this felt like a mini spa session at home. I scooped out around 2-3 tbsp of the product and applied it all over my scalp and on my hair length. After application I left it on for 30 minutes and washed it off. Post the wash, my hair smelt so good, felt very soft, and silky. This is a must buy!!

Finally, I tried Deyga’s Hair Serum, an oil based serum which I used only after a hair wash. It’s very easy to use – I just took a few drops of the serum on my finger tips and applied it on my damp hair ends. The hair serum instantly untangled any hair knots and gave a very healthy shine to my hair. This can also be used as a hair protectant before curling or ironing your hair.

Overall, I loved these hair products by Deyga and would highly recommend that you purchase some of their home-made and organic products. They’ve something for everybody. If you are someone who has dry or rough hair or if you are facing hair loss, fret not! Try the products which I suggested above and with regular usage, you will see a difference.
