Yes, the father-daughter duo will be gracing the silver screen for the first time! Sonam Kapoor debuted in 2007 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya and one question which all her fans kept asking her was if and when would she be starring with her dad, Anil Kapoor.
It looks like that day has finally arrived! Jhakaas Dad Anil Kapoor and Fashionista Sonam will be featured together in a special song for Bombay Talkies (the collection of four short films by Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Dibakar Bannerjee and Zoya Akhtar).
Well, we told you how much we loved the trailer of Bombay Talkies.
Now we learn that there will be a special promotional song in the movie, which will be shown either in the opening or ending credits. The song has been choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant and along with Anil-Sonam, it will also feature an exciting string of other Bollywood stars.
But here’s the catch! Although the father-daughter duo have reportedly shot for the same song, we are not sure if they’ll be actually put together in the same frame. It was reported that even Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan were approached to shoot for this special song in Bombay Talkies! This is one film which I am really looking forward to.
