If you thought the rains are the craziest part of Mumbai’s monsoon, you’d be surprised to hear what some of the crazy Mumbaikars are up to this month.
So from what we hear, the romantic blockbuster of 2013, “Aashiqui 2” starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur will be premiering this Sunday on Sony Max Television.
And as part of a crazy and innovative promotional strategy (and mind you, we are talking about a TV premiere here), you are bound to spot couples striking the famous ‘Aashiqui 2’ pose in Bandra today.
We told you earlier how much we loved the Aashiqui 2 pose. So it is not surprising that these models will recreate this very iconic pose in the movie — by standing under a jacket in the rain at Bandstand. Isn’t it amazing how television premieres are being promoted with such enthusiasm?
Furthermore, there’s also going to be an interactive hoarding covered with roses outside National College. So every time someone plucks a flower for his/her loved one, it will reveal a bit of the movie poster buried underneath. Well, what a way to capitalize on the film’s romantic quotient.
So all you Aashiqui fans – the world television premiere of Aashiqui 2 airs tomorrow at 1 pm IST with a repeat telecast at 8 pm IST on MAX. Book your Sunday nights.. and hey if you spot one such a couple in Bandra today, take a picture and send it to us. We have some special goodies for you!
