Kareena Kapoor & Sonam Kapoor To Start A Fashion Label

If gossip mills are to be believed, Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are planning to start a fashion line together. While Kareena wants to take it a little slow on films after marriage and experiment with other endeavors, Sonam probably has finally realised where her true forte lies.

Both these ladies are known for their blunt personalities and for giving silly, controversial remarks to the media. So this is one fashion launch I am truly waiting for with bated breath.

Sonam Kapoor is the style diva of Bollywood – everybody knows this! However, I do feel that at times, Sonam’s fashion of dressing is simply taken off the ramp or inspired from a lot of Hollywood diaries. Sometimes, it’s perhaps unnecessarily over the top and it’s evident that Sonam adds an exceptional amount of effort to create just one look. Her style is experimental but not effortless. Kareena Kapoor, on the other hand, plays it safe most of the time. Her style has evolved over the last couple of years. Yes some 7-8 years ago, Bebo had a dreadful sense of fashion but these days she seems rather confident and has an unpretentious style.

So the question is – what will their fashion label/venture offer? It might just have a bit of both their personal style statements for sure. Let’s see if either one confirms this rumour!

As of now, busy bee Kareena Kapoor is looking forward to the Satyagraha release this month. Afterwhich, she will begin shoot for Dharma Production’s next opposite Emraan Hashmi. Her other film Gori Tere Pyar Mein, releases in November and then, she will resume shooting for Shuddhi with Hrithik Roshan end of the year. For Sonam Kapoor, 2013 was a good year- Raanjhana and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag did very well in the box office.

So does anyone have a name suggestion for this joint fashion label?
