The trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ramleela was released a few days back and it created a buzz in the B-Town! A love story in turbulent times set in Gujarat, woven with song and dance seemed to have enraptured the audience and fans of SLB. Check it out :
3 Things I loved about the RAMLEELA Trailer
3) Colours
The overall feel and look of the film looks very colourful and brings back memories of Devdas and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Everything in the trailer from the setting to location to the people – seemed very organic and natural. SLB’s vision of the heartlands of Gujarat is simply stunning. (psst….it made me wanna move there and play with colors or curtains for a day or two). Sanjay Leela Bhansali had taken a break from his lavishly-fashioned films when he produced Black, Saawariya and Guzaarish consecutively. While we loved all three films, we did miss the typically SLB styled of colouful film-making. So we are so glad that finally with Ramleela, he is presenting an epic love story with a palette of emotions and vibrant cinematography.
2) The chemistry between the lead pair!
I certainly believe that this movie might just be a game-changer for both DP and Ranveer. Their chemistry looks phenomenal! I was awestruck by the passion and sheer attraction between Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the trailer. While Ranveer looks suave yet rustic, DPad simply looks gorgeous! Well, this did not come as a surprise as Sanjay ALWAYS makes his heroines look regal and out-of-the-world. Both Ranveer and Deepika have such raw, animalistic and instinctual chemistry..(psst…it’s fatal!) that you are bound to get immersed in the love affair.
1) Ranveer Singh
I know I know.. everybody is going on & on about how stunning Deepika is looking! Definitely she is.. but to be honest, for me – Ranveer is the best part about the trailer! Ranveer Singh has an outstanding screen presence and seems to completely steal the show! I can’t seem to imagine anyone else as Ram but him and this is just going by that mere trailer. His dialogue delivery, screen presence, his hair, the beard, body .. this guy brings about a raw, fresh and fiery element to the film’s trailer. Ranveer is merely three films old but the trailer depicts what he is capable of. First, the subtle Lootera now this ruffian Ram! I am a fan!
