The year has barely started and we’re already hearing some crazy gossips going round and round the tinsel town! Check out our pick of the top rumours and just a word of advice – take it with a pinch of salt 😉
1) John Abraham Married
So this not a rumour anymore, it’s a fact that has been confirmed by John. John Abraham and his financial analysist wife from L.A, Priya Runchal, got married last year it seems and you know what’s the funniest part? It’s the way he made the announcement –
Twitter, really? Well, a twist to this story lies in the fact that many people believe John and Priya were already married a year and a half back. It’s just that they made it official now. Who knows? Anyway, congratulations to the couple and all the best to them!
2) Bipasha Basu & Harman Baweja’s Wedding Bells
Ok so reports maintain that this decision of Bipasha’s was taken way before John announced his marriage. *We truly hope so*! Looks like Bips has finally found the love of her life in Harman Baweja and they have been in a serious relationship for a while now. The couple is waiting for the release of Harman’s “Dishkiyaon” (produced by Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra) and after that, both of them plan to tie the knot! A meet-the-parents session has already been done with both families coming together and spending time. Wah..that was quick, ya? We wish them all the best.
3) Salman Khan & Kangna Ranaut – A lesser known affair
OK.. so before you start questioning the accuracy of this piece of information, I’d like to again maintain that these are just rumours – to be taken with a pinch of salt! Although Salman-Kangna has not come out in public, it’s been said that they have been pretty fond of each other. Kangna is a promising actor of today and has shown her acting prowess in a lot of her films. Guess she has completely impressed Salman with her talent and beauty because if rumours are to be believed, Salman got her the movie “Rajjo” for which she was paid a whopping 8 crores! Sallu is also helping her build the right network of people and she is all set for some prestigious releases this year.
4) Double Treat/Trouble in 2014
Speaking of Kangna Ranaut, Krissh 3 proved to be one of her first biggest commercial hits with an A-grade hero. She played a mutant, a “maanwar” to be specific. Kangna has been experimenting with her looks and characters in all her films and looks like we will now see her in a double role in the sequel of her 2011 hit film ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. Thumbs up to that! Other double troubles include Ameesha playing twins in a movie produced by her and some sources say that after watching Aamir in Dhoom 3, Salman Khan has decided to play his younger self in the third edition of Dabangg. You Like?
5) Rani Mukherji to wed Aditya Chopra next month
Yes we all knew they were seeing each other for the longest time and they were in a serious relationship. Yet neither Rani nor Aditya confirmed it. FINALLY it seems like Rani and Aditya have decided to make their relationship official and get married in Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhavan Palace on February 10. Rani Mukherji has even done a recce of that palace and the magnificent property won her in no time. Looks like both the Chopras and the Mukerjis want to keep the marriage a private affair and have requested everyone to respect their privacy.
