BIGGER!!  BETTER!!  BOLDER!!

I was there last year, in the three-day event and was completely overwhelmed by the sheer talent Andheri had! Aimed to entertain visitors and provide established and upcoming talent a platform to showcase their skills, Wassup! Andheri is back this year with an extra day and countless activities for the Andherites! A Festival that celebrates the socio-cultural spirit of the liveliest city of India – Mumbai, is back with a bang and it promises (like last year) to be packed with non-stop entertainment through different art forms like Painting, Photography, Theatre, Literature, Fashion, Culinary, Music and Dance, among others.

The four days of “Wassup!” will give aspirants of every art form an opportunity to interact and connect with the biggies of the industry. Stalwarts like Sudhir Mishra, Abhishek Bachchan, Anurag Basu, Vikramaditya Motwani, Vikas Bahl, Sanjay Chauhan, Rajat Kapoor, Adhuna Akthar, Niharika Khan, Joy Datta, Mukesh Chhabra, Amrita Raichand, Arzan Khambatta & Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi would take the stage and share what’s new with the crowds this year.

Wassup Andheri 2013 once again has collaborated with Humaramovie.com to give an opportunity to upcoming film-makers. The participants will be mentored and judged by Ace directors- Anurag Basu and Vikramaditya Motwane. Besides this, catch Casting Director Mukesh Chhabra do live casting on stage for an upcoming Bollywood flick. Screen Writer Sanjay Chauhan will share his thoughts on cinema and script writing. NOW this one’s an opportunity that you don’t want to miss!!! 

Aside from the celebrity quotient, “Wassup!” will showcase many exciting new acts by established and upcoming artists, and also exhibit a plethora of rare and fascinating art forms over the four days of this extraordinary event. Award winning Bollywood Costume Designer Niharika Khan will give her valuable tips on fashion styling and how looking beautiful with whatever you wear becomes easier. Renowned celebrity hairstylist Adhuna Akhtar will also do live makeovers on stage!

The itinerary also caters to all ages and interests groups. From industry specific interactions for young aspiring talent to health and fitness workshops for home-makers, working professionals and kids too, “Wassup!” will bring all that is new to MUMBAI. The Must-visit

• Chit-Chat with Abhishek Bachchan
• Directors Anurag Basu and Vikramaditya Motwane will select 16 short listed contestants and mentor them to make short films. The winner will assist these directors on their forthcoming projects.
• Adhuna Akhtar and her team will present new hairstyles for women.
• Casting director Mukesh Chabbra will talk about the process of casting and will also take live auditions for several of his upcoming projects.
• Over 15 large installations and more than 50 paintings, sculptures and photographs will adorn the festival.
• The Immortals Of Meluha and The Secret of the Nagas author Amish Tripathi will talk about his third book The Oath of the Vayuputras: Shiva Trilogy#3.
