A stranger in the city asks questions no one has asked before. Known only by his initials, P.K.’s innocent questions and childlike curiosity will take him on a journey of love, laughter and letting-go.
I am sure all of you must have watched the trailer of PK (Peekay or P.K.) and just like me, it must have taken you guys by surprise. Intriguing, funny, interesting – these are some adjectives that I’d like to use for the trailer. PK, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, produced by Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur stars Aamir Khan as the titular role with Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla and Sanjay Dutt appearing in other roles. After the cult success of 3 Idiots, it looks like Rajkumar Hirani is ready to give us another blockbuster. Hirani had stated that the film will be a satire on “Hindu gods and godmen”.
But somehow, from what little I could make out of the trailer, it seemed like Aamir is playing an alien in the film. Given that Aamir himself has described his role in PK as the best in his 25 year career, I am sure it is going to be quite literally out of the world.
From PK’s dressing habits to his antics, he is a quirky character, somewhat lovable and cute. He love to eat paan and Anushka’s voice over in the trailer describes him as a complete ‘namuna‘. He is mischievous with eyes that resemble ‘headlights’ and ‘flying saucer’-shaped ears. I cannot say for sure if PK is an alien in the movie but I am definitely going to watch it on the 19 December 2014. The trailer looks spectacular!
Anushka has a cute pixie haircut and appears confident. Sushant looks good and Sanjay-Boman are definitely going to steal the show! So guys, if you have not already seen the trailer, check it out right now:
And oh ya that transistor! Looks like it definitely has a crucial part in the film as well.
