What does an anchor wear to work?
As an anchor and blogger, I wanted to make an earnest attempt to keep you guys updated about all the different events that are happening in Bombay city but unfortunately, I have not been too regular with my hosting updates simply due to the lack of time. So I thought I’ll do something interesting and instead blog about the different looks I carry at different shows. Take a look and tell me which one’s your favourite.
- This was at The Vodafone Music App Launch Event.
Top – Mango
Pants – Showstopper, Bandra
Earrings – Singapore
Necklace – Singapore
- This was at a PVR Trailer Launch Event.
Inner BW Top –Forever New
Blazer – Forever New
Pants – ZARA
Necklace – Bandra
- This was taken while I was on my way to host the Citibank Corporate Show.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a full length photo.
I also used this for my Lakme Selfie Contest, results of which are still not out. Boohoo.
Top – Topshop
Necklace – Bandra
Earrings – Singapore
- This was taken at the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 launch event.
This royal blue gown was designed in-house and given to me by the organizers. It worked well with the brand colour and as a formal cap-sleeved silk gown with short sleeves. I chose to go with a neat bun and small blue earrings from Australia.
- This was taken at the Kala Ghoda Corporate Photography Exhibition at Prince of Wales Museum.
I opted for a smart casual look.
Top – Banana Republic
Blazer & Jeans – Cotton On
Earrings – DIVA
- The above 3 photos were taken during a hosting stint with TIMESNOW. One was a casual look wearing a pink toga top from Forever21. The other was more corporate, this was a dress I bought from Singapore, Parkway Parade.
- Pool parties are always fun but when the theme Indian, it honestly becomes confusing because the first question you’ll ask is “how can I wear something Indian for a poolside party”? This was when my beautiful multi-coloured maxi-dress from MELA came in handy. I went with a slight puff on hair and kept the makeup simple.
- Weddings – Hosting weddings can be really fun if you’ve got a good rapport with the families involved. I’ve usually been told to wear Sarees or Lehengas for the events. Since I am not too fond of Lehengas, you can find me in Sarees for most wedding events. I complete my look with a matching bindi and heavy earrings. Not too fond of necklaces but I love bangles. Sarees are bought from different places in Mumbai.
Big shout-out to all the people I am working with for events and to all those good souls who helped me capture these wonderful photographs! Thank you so much 🙂
Tell me which looks do you like the most?
Xoxo
