April comes from the latin word, ‘Aperire’ – which means to open up. Likewise, the month of April was also about opening up for me. I met up with a number of my oldest and closest friends, opened up about a few things that were happening in my life. It’s beautiful to see how everyone is just doing their own thing, really evolved to become his or her own person. It’s funny how years just fly by so swiftly – almost in a blink! One moment you’re in school, next moment you’re getting married. No no, don’t get any ideas I am not getting married. Not yet, at least. But most of my friends are. And when they put up photographs of them in their wedding attires, I can’t help but picture them in those blue pinafores. Some of them even have such cute children. It’s surreal. And omg, I totally sound like a mommy!! But in short, I am so happy for so many of my friends who’ve come so far in their lives. So many of them have gone to pursue different things, hold important positions in their companies and really make a mark for themselves. Well, I am, too, at a point in my life where I want to grow in my field. Do as many shows as I can, explore meaningful opportunities. See my family happy, my health good, my mind right, finances flowing and no drama!

My favourite look from this month is the gorgeous black and white jumpsuit from AND. I think the easiest colour combination to nail is indeed black and white. I also LOVED the fit. For casual looks, I loved the yellow dress from ONLY. It screams summer! It’s a beautiful, yellow colour and perfect for the season.
