Carousels

closeup

Carousels in the sky,
We shape with our eyes.
Under the shade, silhouettes, crying rain,
do we fly? do we stay?
We could lose, we could fail.
Either way, options change.
Chances fail, Trains derail.

I feel that sometimes we all take life too seriously. Life is a jarring roller coaster that hurls you up in the skies and tosses you down again. Honestly, I am still getting used to the thrills, chills and the curve balls of life – dreaming, hoping, yearning and languishing to find something. Yes, life has to be celebrated every single moment and we surely need a day to express and unbridle all the things we love. And when it comes to fashion, (as you might already know) – I have a fetish for Indian things.

These days street style photos are the ultimate sources of fashion inspiration. In fact, we spend a pretty hefty portion of our time hunting ideas for seasonal outfits. But to be honest, I believe that everybody should dress only for themselves, their lifestyles, wear what they are comfortable in and what looks good on them.

pink kurti

Today I paired this above pink kurti from BIBA with my blue denim shorts and cardigan. I completed my look with golden mojris, multi-coloured bracelets and a necklace for a lazy afternoon with friends. I feel that wearing your tiniest shorts with an Indian kurti top (or kaftan top) is a stylish option and perfect excuse to add a bit of indo-western fusion to the entire look.

Hope you guys liked it!

Tell me girls, what is your idea of fusion dressing?
