This Diwali, I decided to go for a dreamy update. I got this beautiful pink Punjabi suit from Melange and teamed it up with a golden dupatta and salwar. I kept my jewellery minimal with Kundan earrings and matching bangles. And I completed my look with a pair of golden mojaris. What I loved the most about the look is that it works well during the day and even in the evening. So, you can wear it for an early morning Laxmi Puja and also for any sundowner Diwali party. The colour of the suit is beautiful. It’s not your typical pink colour – it’s a little bit of rose gold + baby pink + blush, mostly blush! I think it looks very elegant. The only problem with this shade is that it is usually too light..it might make you look washed out. So, it becomes necessary to pair it with dark colours and I think it really works well with this golden dupatta/salwar combination. You like?
