Calling all theatre enthusiasts, drama lovers, actors and directors in Singapore ! Singapore Drama Educators Association invites you to discover new ideas and fresh perspectives on theatre-making at the SDEA Theatre Arts Conference from 30 May to 2 June 2013.
The Singapore Drama Educators Association (SDEA) was founded in 2002 with a mission to advocate educational and artistic value of drama and to advance the profession of a drama educator. Encapsulating over 60 presenters from 18 different countries this year, the “SDEA Theatre Arts Conference” will offer a line-up of enriching workshops and some inspiring performances that will bring together and showcase this year’s theme:
“Masak Masak: Let’sPlay”!
Well, a friend of mine told me that ‘Masak Masak’ in Malay means to play with toys – something that I guess symbolizes the objective to reconnect participants with the wonder, innocence, and spontaneity of child’s play. Sounds interesting huh ?
