In celebration of Earth Hour, 313@Somerset will be hosting a slew of fun-filled activities to educate the shoppers on sustainability and to encourage them to join 313 on the sustainability journey. 313 will be hosting its 3rd annual Green & Gorgeous Fashion Swap! On March 23 from 4PM – 8PM, swap clothes and accessories with like-minded individuals where one women’s dress is another women’s treasure!Over 1,000 items have been exchanged in the past two 313’s Green & Gorgeous Fashion Swaps, an initiative pioneered by the mall which has since become a signature event. Miss Earth Singapore 2012, Ms Phoebe Tan, will be gracing the occasion where she will donate some of her clothing and share some of her favourite recycling tips.The drop off points for clothing and accessory collection are in the L1 Atrium at 313 Somerset on March 16 and 17 from 12PM – 8PM and at the 313 Management Office (#05-04) March 18 – 21 from 8:30AM – 4:30PM. Submissions are limited to a maximum of 15 items per participant. All un-swapped items will be donated to ASPN, the Association for Persons with Special Needs

“Green your Accessories” workshop (4-8pm)
The “Green your Accessories” workshop will be conducted from 4pm-8pm and aims to give shoppers a taste of using recycled materials to create beautiful accessories. Miss Earth Singapore, Phoebe Tan, will also participate in the workshop at 6pm. Shoppers can enjoy all workshops for free and registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Catch the winner of Singapore Eco Music Challenge 2012, Supernova, perform every 30 minutes throughout the Green & Gorgeous Fashion Swap from 4:30 – 8pm.

Drop by 313’s photobooth at L1 Discovery walk to make a ‘green’ pledge for the environment. All pledges will be put together to form a unique symbol befitting Mother Earth!

– ‘Lights Off!’ initiative
Come together in 313@somerset’s bid to promote the use of less energy. Participating retailers will turn off their non-essential lights and 313@somerset will turn off its façade from 8.30pm to 10.30pm.

– ‘Spend & Redeem’ promotion
From March 15 – 28, shoppers can enjoy the attractive ‘Spend & Redeem’ promotion; the first 50 shoppers daily to spend a minimum of $120 (in a maximum of 3 same-day receipts) will stand to redeem an exclusive Green Tote Bag constructed out of recyclable material. The promotion is limited to one redemption per shopper per day, on a first-come-first-serve basis. CLUB313 members are guaranteed redemption.
