What is SlimKicker ?
SlimKicker is an online calorie tracker that takes your diet/fitness goals and turns them into a level-up game. You upload a image of something you’ll reward yourself such as an iPad, and when you reach a certain number of points, they’ll remind you to reward yourself with that. SlimKicker also has lots of recipe ideas such as Dukan Diet meal ideas. This application is also available on the Iphone.
So, what is the contest all about?
Well, Slimkicker is looking for creative ideas for health challenges that they can use.
Some current challenges include:
1) Green Meal Challenge (Eating something green in every meal for the next 7 days.)
2) Quitting soda/alcohol for a week
3) Swapping a Vice Food
(Picking an unhealthy snack you indulge in, and eat a healthier alternative for the next 7 days)
4) Doing 20 pushups a day for 1 week
5) Squatting during TV commercials
How to enter the Healthy Challenge Contest ?
To enter the contest, simply leave a 1-2 sentences comment on THIS POST below with your creative challenge idea & your email address (yes, we’ll need to contact the winner!). A SlimKicker representative will choose the most creative idea and will make it a new challenge on their site*. I will also announce the winner on my blog once the decision has been made. The winner will have 48 hours to respond before a new winner gets chosen. This contest is open until 05 April 2012, Friday mid-night, which means you have 1 week to think of some ideas!!

With that said, to boost not only your physical health but mental health as well, create the opportunity to laugh / bring humour into your life daily. Each day, try one of these ideas to make yourself feel good and motivated.
(1)Watch a funny movie or TV show.
(2) Go to a comedy club.
(3) Read the funny pages.
(4) Share a good joke or a funny story.
(5) Go to a “laughter yoga” class.
(6) Make time for fun activities (e.g. bowling, miniature golfing, karaoke).
With that said, health is truly wealth so keep yourself happy & laughing always!

Sometimes having a 9-6 job makes it difficult for one to exercise daily. Here’s a challenge idea for all working adults.
Park your car the furthest away from your office for the next 7 days. This way, you can walk daily for at least 15 mins in the morning before going to office and evening after work hours.
