Jessica Custom Nail Care Review
When it comes to nail polish brands, my safest picks have always been Elle 18, OPI, Lakme and Colorbar. I’ll be honest – I had never tried Jessica Custom Nail Care before. Mainly because I did not find them in Singapore that easily. But after coming to Mumbai, I got a sample gifted recently and let me tell you that I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome of putting on this UK nail brand. Known as the “First Lady of Nails,” Jessica Vartoughian founded the Jessica Custom Nail Care Polish. I tried the 7.4ml Purple Burst (091) shade and here’s my review!
What it claims:
Jessica Nails offer an array of distinctive nail colours. They are the favourites of manicurists and consumers alike for their passion to provide natural nail care. The nails stay glossy even after a long time has passed. Worn by a whole host of celebrities including Sarah Jessica Parker, Demi Moore and Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Nails are world renowned for their outstanding variety of classic and custom colours that offer something for everyone. This high energy shade makes a bold fashion statement.
My Review:
The 7.4 ml Jessica Custom Nail Care Polish comes in an endearing and small shaped bottle that can easily slip into your purse to be carried around anywhere. Given the smooth applicator, I found the polish very easy to put on. Personally I loved the bright grape colour on my nails. And in just two coats, it gave a glossy and opaque coverage with a crème finish. The picture below was taken 5 days after I put on the nail polish.
What’s Good:
1) Long lasting
2) Glossy
3) Quick to dry
4) Plenty of colours to choose from
What’s Not So Good:
1) A little pricey. Rs-950 for one 14.8 ml bottle
2) Not easily accessible unless you buy it online from purplle.com
