Baar Baar Dekho trailer is out and the movie looks hot, at least in the style quotient! Katrina Kaif looks like a million bucks in all the frames and all the shots and there are 5 looks while I totally loved. Just from the trailer, here’s an attempt at dissecting some of the super cool outfits which Katrina features. I’ve also tried and listed where you can find the same or similar clothings. Boho Jackets
Boho jackets are really gaining momentum in the smart casual space. Katrina Kaif wears this white ‘Meadow Magic’ jacket from Free People – with a halter neck crochet top & shorts. I totally dig this ensemble because I’m super fond of such beachy vacation looks. Do you like it?
Orange Monokini
And this is the swimsuit that’s been on everyone’s mind ever since the trailer released. Katrina Kaif has donned this one shoulder, orange cutout monokini from Agent Provocateur, definitely raising the bar in the bodymeter for actresses! On a side note, Katrina’s swim suits from Bang Bang was also from the same brand. Someone’s got a clear favourite swimwear brand!
Summer Tunics
I love this printed summer tunic that Katrina Kaif is wearing. Couldn’t find out where this dress is originally from but there are some similar stuff on BEBE. Pair it with white sneakers and it makes for a very pretty look overall. In this one, Katrina Kaif also sports short hair with bangs and geeky glasses. I am guessing this is much in tune with her character in Baar Baar Dekho. She looks cute!
Checkered Blazers
Pair your party dresses with classy soft tone checkered overcoats. You can find something similar online from ASOS. Also, let me tell you that checks are huge this season – plaid, tartan, houndstooth, gingham – you name them and they were all featured at the Paris Fashion Week A/W 2016. But if you are afraid to step out decked head-to-toe in this print, do what Katrina Kaif is doing – start minimal. Try introducing a monochrome checkered pattern into your ensemble through accessories like a jacket, a scarf, belt or a bag. Here, Katrina has paired her red dress with a checkered blazer and this instantly adds effortless oomph to an outfit!
Bridal
Lastly, the bridal look for this wedding season will see lots of golden & red hues. Designed by Manish Malhotra, Katrina Kaif is seen in a gorgeous golden choli and a red lehenga for most bit of the Kaala Chasma song. For a split second she’s also adorning a red brocade blouse and a lehenga. I love it.
