Usually on the first day of New Year, I often reflect and set out my goals for the upcoming 12 months. As I begin 2017, I have nothing much to really outline apart from having a sense of gratitude for all that I went through last year. 2016 wasn’t an easy year and as I grow older, I’ve started to realise that I’m slowly but surely outgrowing most of the things that were once significant to my naive and younger self. This year, I am just going to try and remain happy every single day, when things work out and even when they don’t. They say that “we are born in one day, we die in one day, we can change in one day and we can fall in love in one day”. This year, I want to start believing that anything can happen in one day. That miracles do exist..

Colours play such an integral part in my life. So when it came to putting together this look from Vero Moda, I couldn’t take my eyes off this yellow off-shoulder top. It just exuded a very happy vibe plus off-shoulders are still going to rule the fashion circuit for the coming seasons. I, then, contrasted the top with a pair of monochromic checkered trousers that totally flattered my body type. Add to that- my favourite pair of red heels that gave a little hint of romance without being too dressy. And finally, I completed my look with a pretty pair of earrings and wrist charms. The beautiful, vintage ambience at Grandmama’s cafe made the photographs look even better. Hope you liked it.
Before I sign off, I must add that my blog has turned 4 this year. When I started blogging I had no idea where this was going to be taking me. But look how far WE have come. I say we, because I wouldn’t have been able to do this, without your support. Last year, I also started exploring the medium of videos to convey a story – yeah, I started vlogging. My travel vlogs to Thailand were much appreciated and I promise I will vlog more often this year.
