Mumbai’s traffic and Mumbai’s weather – two of the most unpredictable elements of the city. Just when we thought winter in Mumbai was over, the weather became chilly again during the last couple of days. And just when we thought it can’t get any worse, it started to rain this afternoon. To be honest, I am totally loving the weather but like it or not – your health goes for a toss – especially your skin! My skin has become noticeably drier.
BUT… Thanks to the awesome team from Parachute who sent me their new range of latest body lotions for reviewing, I can delightfully say that my skin is softer and moisturized.
Today I will be reviewing Parachute Advansed Butter Smooth Body Lotion.
What The Product Claims:

My Review:
So I received two bottles – one 100 ml and one 250 ml. The curvy shape of the bottles are exactly like the other Parachute lotions. Since this contains the coconut butter smooth element, I am assuming that the colour of the bottle (ie. chocolate) was planned strategically – I like, hehe!
The Parachute Advansed Butter Smooth Body Lotion is easy to apply – just squeeze out a little bit of the white creamy lotion and apply it on your hands/legs etc. The lotion is quite thick – so remember to squeeze out only a little portion first and apply.
In a couple of minutes, I noticed that the cream got completely absorbed and blended well into my skin. If your skin is dry like mine, you don’t have to worry about any greasy sensation. I am very picky about how my skin feels after applying moisturizers. So for me – I can safely say that unlike a lot of other body creams, this lotion did not leave my skin feeling oily or sticky. So that’s a big plus point for me!
There is no specific fragrance but I think I could smell a tiny hint of coconut and milk. The smell is not overpowering and some find it pleasant. The lotion moisturizes quite well. It does leave my skin hydrated for at least the next 3-4 hours. Overall, I think the Parachute Advansed Butter Smooth Body Lotion keeps my skin nourished and since I’ve dry skin, it worked well for me without making my skin too oily or greasy.
What’s good:
The Parachute Advansed Butter Smooth Body Lotion moisturizes well. It is affordable and easily available in different sizes. The 100 ml is travel friendly and can easily fit in your purse.
What’s not so good:
It is only suitable for normal to dry skin types. So if you have oily skin and the climate is humid, I do not think there is a point trying this lotion as it will make your skin very greasy. It is also not for skin which is way too dry.
