When Raj (Shahrukh Khan) and Simran (Kajol) first met on an inter-rail holiday in Europe, it wasn’t exactly love at first sight … But when Simran is taken back to India for an arranged marriage, love makes its presence felt. Encouraged by his father, Raj decides to fly down from London to not just win his bride but her whole family and the blessings of her father. All this while the celebrations for her wedding are in full swing. On 25 October 1995, history was created. And this year, on 12 December 2014, celebrate 1000 weeks of timeless romance and the longest running film, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ).
In October 1995, DDLJ was released and it received many, many accolades. To commemorate the continuous running of the film ever since then, Yash Raj Films will be doing several activities to do so from 12 December onwards. Let’s take a look at the newly-released trailer:
