I am trying something different this year. If you have been following my blog and my past outfit posts, you’d know that I dedicate a shoot every month for an exclusive look. This requires putting together the entire ensemble right from the outfit to accessories, shoes and even handling production work like getting a good location, photography and post-production work – it’s a lot of effort. So, although many of you have said before that my style seems to be effortless, it really isn’t. It’s a lot of hard work to get the monthly shoots done, then select the best 9 or 10 photos for the blog, edit them and upload them with a meaningful theme. I have decided to try something different this year. Why don’t I share with you guys my everyday style? (Not like everyday of the month because I do repeat my clothes and I am not ashamed of it). But I was thinking more on the lines of how I’d dress up for work generally and select a few of my favourite looks for the month..? You guys do know that I anchor a TV show for a living and I shoot regularly. BUT, I do not have a stylist. I design my own look (head to toe) for each episode. So, I was thinking why don’t I give you guys a real idea of my personal sense of style? So, it won’t be a monthly shoot dedicated to just one look. It will be a mixture of various outfits and themes. And no, I am not being lazy here – trust me, it takes a lot of effort to put together a look in any case. So, why not share it with you? These photos will obviously not be the same as highly planned photoshoot pictures like I always used to put up on my blog on a monthly basis. They will mostly be shot on location or in my studio using my iPhone XR (which by the way gives SUPERB quality photos). These will not taken by professional photographer. But hey,style is style, regardless of the quality of picture, price tag or brand. Fashion is for all of us.
Having said that, I am not completely doing away with the idea of monthly shoots. If and when I get my hands on a fantastic piece of outfit that requires an exclusive shoot or if an interesting collaboration come my way, then I will definitely do a photoshoot exclusively!
But for now, here’s presenting before you my Feb Look Book. I call it ‘Spring’.

Tell me which one was your favourite of the month?
For me, it has to be the black dress. Black has no rules and the little black dress is such a darling. Some like it when it is ‘just too little’ while others love it when it sits ‘just below the knees.’ Whatever be the length of the black dress, it does help you express your fashion sensibility without inhibition. love this gorgeous dress from AND because it looks classic, graceful and it’s well-fitted! I completed my look with simple studded earrings & a pair of heels.
