What To Wear On A First Date

Chemistry isn’t built over night and love does not happen at first sight! That’s exactly why we go on dates. Dates are often the “getting-to-know-you ” period and for most of us, the first date is always a special date! The first-time  jitters roll down your spine when you are sure to be out on a date with a guy you’re interested in.  But ladies, I completely understand how genuinely complicated and tedious it is to pick the right clothes for the first date. You want to look your best but at the same time, you do not want to give the “trying too hard to impress ” vibe. How do you strike a balance? How do you know what exactly to wear on a first date? Well, choose your clothes according to where you are headed and the kind of activities you plan out for the date! Like it or not, in actual fact –  what you wear on your first date matters a lot more than we would like to admit.  Here are some ensembles which you might like for the first date!

Coffee is always a great way to start a date. If you are headed for a cup of a coffee, keep it casual, easy-going and comfortable!

Here’s something for a dinner or lounge date – perhaps at a nice restaurant or chatting over a couple of drinks. Look attractive and classy at the same time.

If you would like to experiment and make your first date special, I suggest try out something different! Go for a theatre play or choose a new cuisine that neither of you have had before. Dress differently from the usual LBDs and make your date unique.

This last ensemble might work if you are headed on an outdoor date. Maybe a summer stroll through picturesque gardens. (Just check the weather forecast in advance though…. hehe!)

Tell me girls, what is your idea of a perfect first date and what would you ideally like to wear?
